I had an amazing experience with Julie and will absolutely recommend her to anyone. One thing to note, you don't need to be in the same city as your broker, she helped me with securing financing for a home that was about 2.5 hours away from Ottawa. I was referred to her from an old neighbour who had used her for her own purchase, and I am so incredibly thankful I ended up with her throughout this process. She was so incredibly kind, patient, thorough, and just an absolutely invaluable resource throughout the process. It was my first purchase and the entire process was very overwhelming. I had done tons of research, talked to friends/family, and been given resources from other people. But it was Julie who really explained things to me in ways that I finally understood, she even explained things to me that my own realtor didn't. When I called her panicking about things throughout the process, she always reassured me, made sure I understood what was happening, and always left me feeling so much better. I never felt pressured from her, and I truly felt she always had my best interest at heart. I first contacted her in April 2022 and didn't purchase until Nov 2022. They didn't pressure me or inundate me with calls/emails, but followed up when rate holds were expiring, and just communicated they would be there when I was ready. She got me the absolute best rate possible, and even contacted me (unprompted) when she secured an even better rate! I was absolutely blown away with her and her team. They even sent me a 'welcome' gift to my new home once I took possession. I cannot say enough positive things about her and the team. I will absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone I know. She single-handedly made this process so much less stressful, especially for an overwhelmed first-time buyer.
